Who is A l’Atelier de la Couture?
My name is Élodie Sanier, and I am the founder and manager of A l’Atelier de la Couture, located at 35 rue de l’Hôtel de Ville, 85540 Champ Saint Père, in Vendée, as well as our second workshop in Saint-Michel-en-l’Herm, 85580.
For several decades, I had the pleasure of designing and creating custom wedding dresses. Although I no longer make wedding dresses, I continue to craft bridal accessories such as stoles, shawls, boleros, and bridal capes. These pieces are available on my website: www.alatelierdelacouture.com.
Passionate about sewing from a young age, I created this workshop to share my passion and support my clients in their sewing projects, whether for alterations or transformations.
I am also proud to present I’m Back, a women's upcycled clothing brand that gives a second life to forgotten textiles, unrepaired garments, and outdated household linens, turning them into unique and eco-friendly pieces. Today, the I’m Back brand is based in Saint-Michel-en-l’Herm and is also available online at imback.fr.
At A l’Atelier de la Couture, I place great importance on durability, quality, and service. In addition to sewing services, I also offer sewing classes to help you learn new techniques in a friendly and creative environment. Classes are held on Saturday mornings by reservation. My goal is to support you in your projects, whether you are a beginner or experienced—I am here to guide and assist you in bringing your sewing ideas to life.
I firmly believe that fashion can be both beautiful and environmentally friendly, and this is what I strive to convey through my creations and the I’m Back collection.
If you need sewing services, alterations, transformations, or if you would like to take a sewing class, feel free to visit one of our workshops (see our opening hours) or contact me.
A très bientôt Chez A l'atelier de la couture
