1.2.3 VITRAIL
THE LIGHT OF THE FAITH, OUR PLACE OF RESIDENCE.
"The Kingdom of God is within you and all around you..." Jésus
Often misinterpreted, this parable of Jesus clarifies that God is not in all things but dwells in the heart of the one who welcomes Him.
The art of stained glass, beyond its decorative function, would it not have been transmitted to a soul to remind humanity of its origins, its resemblance with the Most High, towards whom it aspires to return?
On closer inspection, this patchwork of glass with lead stitching is the other side of the mirror of a humanity, forgetful of its ability to be receptacle of the Light to reveal its true nature.
For Frédéric Troisième, being able to transmit what animates us, even before our birth, has a truly profound meaning that he has been striving to express for over 20 years. By combining his first passion, computer graphics, with stained glass, a creative spark gave birth to "Revelation" in 2016. The graphic concept which illustrates, through the symbolism of black and white, assisted by the transparency of glass, the mystery of our Being.
His passion inspires the artist to share what animates him, that by which all wonder of the mind is a grace that allows a heart to open and the soul to feel the Presence of the One Who Is, its Creator.
“To serve the Light by bearing witness to it, through stained glass windows, is to offer the possibility of awakening what seems dormant.”
MY PASSION IN SERVICE OF THE LIGHT
A self-taught artist, drawn to drawing from a young age before dedicating myself to computer graphics and then to the mysteries of stained glass, I create custom-made contemporary stained glass windows in any format and produce unique pieces from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. I restore and teach the art of stained glass, including glass painting, both individually and in groups, and create jewelry and objects in enameled glass using fusion and thermoforming techniques.
“You can, at any time you wish, withdraw into yourself. No retreat is more peaceful or less troubled for a person than that which they find in their own soul.”
Marcus Aurelius
